Celebrating the 4th of July with what is in season

The fruits that are in season during summer are my favorite. They make 4th of July recipes special. Strawberries, peaches, plums, and other berries make for great desserts. I recently posted my recipe for a peach and strawberry crumble. Never thought to pair the two together. I received peaches from The Peach Truck for Father’s day and asked someone what I could make with them. I was looking to do something special because they were delicious peaches. He recommended a strawberry peach crumble. A crumble? I was thinking of something out of the ordinary. Well this crumble is out of the ordinary! It was the best one I have ever tasted. The peaches and strawberries taste so delicious together!
