Sweet & Spicy Honey Sriracha Chicken Pizza

Jump to Recipe - Print Recipe

Ready in about 30 minutes with a store-bought crust, this Honey Sriracha Chicken Pizza recipe is your ticket to an amazing pizza night. It delivers a delicious blend of sweet heat from the honey and sriracha, balanced by a cool, creamy ranch. It's a family-tested meal that is both incredibly satisfying and simple to prepare.

Why You'll Love This Sweet & Spicy Pizza

  • Saves Money: Making this at home is much cheaper than ordering a specialty pie from a restaurant.
  • Saves Time: With a store-bought crust and rotisserie chicken, you are done in 30 minutes.
  • Custom Heat: You control the spice level so everyone at the table is happy.

What You Will Need:

  • Honey: This provides the sweet base for the sauce and helps the sriracha cling to the chicken.
  • Sriracha: This adds a bright heat to the dish. You should taste as you go when adding this to the honey to ensure it does not get too hot for your preference.
  • Ranch: This serves as the creamy base sauce for the pizza. It balances the "sweet heat" of the chicken topping while providing a cool contrast. You can use a bottled version, a fancy brand, or my homemade recipe.
  • Monterey Jack: This is a great melter that provides a mild, cheesy flavor to tie the pizza together.

The Dough for the Pizza

You can use my pizza dough recipe or one of your own. The recipe for the ingredients on the pizza are for about a 12-inch pizza. If you are going to use our dough recipe, you will want to plan ahead. The dough needs to rise for about one hour. But it's worth the wait! A pizza stone works great with our dough. Heat the pizza stone 30 minutes before cooking on it. You do not want to put your pizza on a cold pizza stone!

Making the Easy Honey Sriracha Chicken Pizza

  • Mix the Topping: In a medium bowl, stir together the cubed chicken, honey, and sriracha. Taste a small piece to check the heat level.
  • Prep the Base: Lay your dough on a floured surface or pizza peel. Spread the ranch dressing in a thin layer, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Layer Flavors: Distribute the honey sriracha chicken evenly over the ranch.
  • Add Cheese: Cover the chicken with the shredded Monterey Jack.
  • Bake: Slide the pizza onto your preheated stone or tray. Bake at 425 F for 8 to 10 minutes. Rotate the pizza halfway through to ensure the crust browns evenly.
