Method
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey and the Italian sausage. Mix gently with your hands until just combined (do not overwork the meat).
Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
Cook the burgers on a preheated grill or in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
