FAQ's:

What makes this Peanut Butter Caramel recipe vegan?

This recipe is vegan because it uses natural peanut butter and coconut oil as substitutes for dairy butter and cream, and pure maple syrup instead of sugar, making it entirely plant-based.

How do I prepare the coconut oil for this recipe?

It's important to warm the coconut oil until it is in liquid form before mixing it with the other ingredients. This ensures it combines smoothly and doesn't leave solid chunks in the sauce. Just warm it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time.

What are some good uses for this sauce?

This versatile sauce can be used anywhere you would use traditional caramel. It's delicious for dipping apples, drizzled over ice cream, as a topping for cakes or cupcakes, and more.

How long will this sauce last in the fridge?

The peanut butter caramel sauce, stored in an airtight container, will typically stay fresh in the fridge for about 1-2 weeks.

Can I substitute the pure maple syrup with another sweetener?

The recipe is designed for pure maple syrup. Other liquid sweeteners might work, but they could alter the flavor and consistency of the sauce.
