Ginger Sesame Dressing

A nutty and zesty Toasted Sesame Ginger Dressing made with pickled ginger and sesame seeds. This versatile recipe is great for salads, grain bowls, or as a flavorful dip.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of avocado oil canola or vegetable oil will do
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of pickled sushi ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid from the pickled ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds

Method

  1. Add oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, pickled ginger, and pickled ginger liquid to a blender or food processor. Combine well until emulsified.
  2. After combining, add toasted sesame seeds to the dressing.
  3. When blended with the sesame seeds it is ready to use.
  4. Store with an airtight lid in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
