Blue cheese and walnuts baked into a shortbread style cracker, with a hint of smoked paprika. An easy upgrade for any cheese board.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup butter room temperature
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese room temperature
  • ½ cup walnuts chopped

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until they just come together.
  2. Place between two pieces of parchment and roll out to ¼ inch.
  3. Place rolled out dough on a baking sheet and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. After chilling, cut out using a 2 inch round or square cutter and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 9-10 minutes.
  6. Wait 10 minutes before removing from the baking sheet to a cooling rack.
