Tired of the same old green bean dish? Try blistered green beans. Roasted to perfection, they offer a delicious twist on a classic side.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bag of fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon of cracked black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. Place green beans on a paper towel lined microwave safe plate and microwave for one minute.
  3. Then place green beans on a lined baking sheet and coat with the olive oil, sea salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for five minutes, mix the beans up, then bake five to six minutes longer.
  5. Serve soon after baking.
